Maybelline Haul!

So on Saturday me and my dad decided we wanted to go out,but because it is still very cold in England we couldn't really do anything apart from going shopping!  Which really wasn't bad because I really enjoy going shopping if i do need something, I really fancied buying new makeup, just so i was stocked up for a while, I didn't NEED anything but I did want a few things,Id seen a few adverts on TV for a new foundation by Maybelline which is called

Dream Flawless Nude Foundation, I got mine in Ivory, this foundation is the best foundation I've used in a very long time, although i love my other foundations this foundation was so easy to apply and blend it,after you have applied the foundation it feels so soft,it feels like you have already powdered your face,I have never felt a foundation feel so soft and smooth on your face before you've applied powder, so i would 100% recommend this foundation, also it has an extremely high coverage!

The next thing I decided to purchase was the Maybelline Baby skin pore eraser, Id seen many great reviews about this, and due to having sensitive i have to be careful with what brands I use, and I know Maybelline doesn't affect my skin so i decided to just go through with it and buy their primer, although i haven't used this yet,i can tell you that it comes out very clear so there is no colour or undertones to it and it also seems very soft, so again I will defiantly recommend this!

The final thing I picked up was the Maybelline dream sun bronzing powder in brunette! This bronzer is a triple bronzing powder, I have used this, and it gave such an amazing finish,It really made that difference to my final makeup look,I struggle with bronzer because I am quite fair skin so some bronzers look way too dark and obvious on me but this bronzer really worked well with my skin tone and left such a nice finish!

Now if you're reading this blog and you're from England and feel like purchasing some of these items, I'm happy to tell you that it is in fact 3 for 2 in boots at the moment, so i only paid for my foundation and primer and got the bronzer free! This is such a great deal and opportunity to stock up! Also the foundation is only £5.99 at the moment as an introductory price, but i think in march is going up to £8.99 so get it fast! I'll leave links down below as to where you can get these items from! Unfortunately i cannot find the bronzer on the boots website, but it is in store but I will leave the link for superdrug so you can see the bronzer through superdrug!

Thank you for reading, if you have any blogs or any comments or even if you have any of these items, leave a comment or email me and I'd love to see your blogs and read comments about what items you have!

My HD brow experience!

Hey! So today's post is going to be a little bit different to what I've blogged about, around 3 weeks ago I made the decision to have my eyebrows done professionally! But instead of just getting them shaped and tinted I decided to get HD brows which have become so popular recently and they outcome looks so so good! I couldn't resist! Now the treatment involves 7 steps, so I thought I would tell you and give you my honest opinion hoping that it helps if you're thinking about having your eyebrows done! I also took before and after pictures and also pictures a week on to show how easy it is to maintain them!

Before!
After!

The 7 steps:

1) Consultation -  with your stylist to determine which brow shape will best suit your face, what colour your brows should be and filling in a few forms with basic details, now mine was actually done on the day because it was something that could easily be done in 5 minutes.

2) Tinting – If you have thin, or over plucked brows, you don’t need to worry as the consultant will tint your brows to match your hair or natural colour.  As i dye my hair from a mousy brown to dark brown my eyebrows are much lighter than my hair colour, meaning without filling them in i genuinely look like i have no eyebrows or im an alien! So the dye we opted for was to go with quite a dark shade that lightens up over a course of time depending on how long the dye is left on for, but the  dye is left on for a minute and is then swept off with cotton pads.

3) Waxing – I've had my brows waxed before and so I knew what it was like but I had it done years ago by my friend because I was curious! To be honest, I find waxing around the eye area is relatively pain free, but when it was first applied and waxed off a little tear came into my eye,not gonna lie ha-ha! But then as she carried on and did it more I found it was pain free and quite a easy way of removing hairs around your eyes.  The consultant uses a specially created wax to ensure that it doesn't pull or hurt the skin, and this is used to create the arch, I was impressed when my stylist said I had a great natural arch!

4) Trimming – Your brows are then combed through and trimmed to match sure they are tame and of the same length.

5) Threading – Now this is the bit I was most worried about,I wound myself up over it,watching tutorials on YouTube to see how its done right before my appointment, when she approached me with the thread I was absolutely dreading it! But then when she started threading away I had to ask if she was even doing anything because i could not feel a thing! So it really confused me by how some people make a big deal over it but hey, everyone has their own pain thresholds! Threading is used above the brow to blend the hairs in naturally to the rest of your face.

6) Tweezing – This is something I hate the most! I never used to do it on myself, yes I'll admit I used to do a razor but I was so precise! But It genuinely did not hurt at all!

7) Aftercare – Your consultant will then run through how to care for your new brows and will fill in any sparse areas with the HD brow kit as well as setting the brows with the HD Brows ‘Brow Beater’.  I got showed how easy it was to maintain the look and i was super happy with the results! I would 100% recommend this!

Mua makeup academy!

Hey! So today my blog is based on MUA makeup academy, now some may not no this brand and others may, this brand is such a good super affordable brand, i will admit this brand is cheap but you get such amazing quality from this brand! They do everything you could ever wish for from foundations to eye shadow pallets, blushers, powders, mascaras, eyeliners, primers, nail varnish, complexion kits, prime and conceal powders..etc.. so from me just naming quiet a few things it comes to the mind that there is an awful lot on there that other brands may not sell like the complexion kits and conceal powders,as a makeup artist i know that it is incredibly useful to have somewhere to buy conceal powders and complexion kits from. Although i currently have only 4 items by MUA i know my collection will grow gradually..If you ever had a shopping day where you thought 'i really want lots of new makeup' MUA would be the best brand to go look at because you could buy so many new items where as if you went to go by mac or benefit ,L'Oreal etc.. you may only be able to buy a couple of things, MUA is defiantly the best brand to buy as a younger person experimenting with makeup or if you don't have much money and you want the basics..So if you're wondering the 4 items i have are the Pro-Base complexion kit,2 matte lipsticks which are totally nude and scarlet siren and one normal more glossy lipstick called flamingo  the complexion kit cost me £6, and all lipsticks are £1. At the moment there is a sale on the MUA website and there is also reductions in super drug. Super drug is the only store i know which sells MUA. So i thought i would just leave this blog post with pictures of the lipsticks and what they look like on and also links to products i have and to just the MUA website in general and super drug! Thank-you for reading x

Benefit roller lash!!!

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara!

So this week was very exciting for me, benefits new mascara which is called roller lash put samples into ELLE magazine! OF course i went out and bought it so i could try it out!  So i thought i would blog and insert pictures about my experience with this new mascara!

So in all honesty this mascara is absolutely amazing! it adds so much volume and length to your lashes! There is no clumps involved at all, it apply smoothly, doesn't feel heavy on your lashes, it feels so natural and doesn't even feel like i have mascara on. When you run your finger over your eyelashes it feels so soft and so evenly applied!  You can apply as many coats as your like to get the look you are going for but with someone with natural long eyelashes i felt as if i only needed 2 coats of this mascara to get the look i go for, as i like my eyelashes to be long and stand out and be voluminous and this mascara truly did the job! Also this is really easy to remove, doesn't take much to get it off, it doesn't make your eyes feel sore after wards from the effort it takes to get off because this product comes off with any good eye makeup remover! Roller lash really does give a satin finish! 100% would recommend to anyone!

Roller lash isn't available to buy at the moment but it does come out next week! Which is Thursday 12th February!

Although i don't know how much it will be I'll insert links here to ELLE, Benefit and QVC because i know you can pre order there and it is £15.82 introductory price which is amazing for this mascara! (Id honestly recommend qvc to get a lot of things)
